I arrived at this color combination to use up burgundy and black T-shirts that seemed to have no friends at all. Shout out to Josef Albers for helping me make the orange stripes look like different shades. When considering the finished piece I had to tell myself, “If the stripes hurt your eyes, then don’t look at the rug so much.”
